The mission of the National Pension reform Committee is to achieve the following:

“Prompt implementation of a national pension reform plan that provides a pension income sufficient to allow Canadians to live out their retirement years with dignity and respect independent of any other financial support.”

As the keynote speaker Wayne Marsten will be presenting the legislative context, some history and details of the benefits of pension plans and of course some shortcomings of the current political agenda.

Each presenter will have 5 minutes to explain how these proposed changes will impact the people they represent and work with. In conclusion there will be a question and answer period.
